In the early days of Yeshua, the movement was known to many as gnosticism, gnostic, or gnosis — meaning to know/knowing. The goal was, is, True Humanity. Today, in our modern world, the early gnostic movement has too often been misinterpreted. A real gnostic was, is, a spiritual scientist — a scientist who recognizes the importance and symbiotic nature of soul and spirit relative to science and true knowledge. That the physical human body (DNA, genetics), the emotional body (energy in motion), the mental body (mind), and the spiritual body (soul) all play crucial roles in overall human health.
