Skinny Fat Details:

Celebrity Lauren Conrad shows off (pics above) her genetic scientific Body Type Two (BT2) shape figure/physique during her time off. The full development of no less than her lumbar vertebrae and related muscles/muscle mass is debatable. The candid images reveal likely skinny fat (lack of genetic muscle, IE cellulite, thin fat, normal weight obesity) on no less than her lower back, possibly indicating at least slightly underdeveloped muscle relative to her lumbar vertebrae.

Science recognizes that one pound of muscle mass burns six calories daily, but one pound of regular fat (white fat/yellow fat/excess fat) and/or skinny fat only burns two to three calories daily. Which directly affects metabolism (the more skinny fat and/or regular fat, the slower the metabolism). The mostly developed vertebrae, muscles, and muscle mass across the majority of her BT2 is an advantage that Body Type Three (BT3) and Body Type Four (BT4) human bodies (female or male) generally lack.

Diet, exercise, lifestyle, metabolic rate (BMR), and BMI matter. But so do genes/genetics/DNA. It will be interesting to see how well Lauren Conrad maintains her body shape figure/physique as she continues to age. Is she really a Standard Body Type One (BT1)?

Bio:

Hollywood star, television personality, and fashion designer Lauren Conrad displays (pics above) her Body Type Two shape/figure while on vacation. While attending Laguna Beach High School alongside castmates Lo Bosworth, Kristin Cavallari, and Stephen Colletti, she starred in the 2004 MTV reality television series Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, which documented their lives during high school. That same year, she graced an episode of MTV Cribs. She left the series after the second season.

After graduating from Laguna Beach High in 2004, she briefly attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco for one semester. She subsequently transferred to the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles, but did not graduate with a degree. In 2005, upon moving to Los Angeles, she joined the cast of the Laguna Beach spin-off series The Hills. At the same time, she accepted an internship with Teen Vogue. That was followed by an internship with Kelly Cutrone’s PR firm, People’s Revolution.

Expanding her horizons, in 2007, she became the inaugural spokeswoman of Avon Products’ “mark.” line. She made her major motion picture debut that same year, appearing as a satirical version of herself in the comedy film Epic Movie. She left the Hills in 2009. To date, her TV credits include Family Guy (2006, 2009, FOX), Greek (2008, ABC), Privileged (2008, The CW), Bromance (2009, MTV), The City (2009, MTV), Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (2009, ABC), America’s Next Top Model (2009, UPN), Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List (2010, Bravo), Punk’d (2012, MTV), Fashion Police (2014, E!), Pop Innovators (2014, E!), and The Eric Andre Show (2014, Adult Swim).

Fashion Designer, Television Personality, and Reality TV Star Lauren Conrad Body Type Two Shape

Stepping away from the screen, she transitioned into fashion design, starting with The Lauren Conrad Collection in 2008, which was a failure. Bouncing back, in 2009, she partnered with Kohl’s to launch her second fashion line LC Lauren Conrad. She then launched The Beauty Department in 2011, later expanding the brand to include a line of cosmetics. Later that year, she launched her third fashion line Paper Crown, but it was discontinued in 2018. Other ventures include a 2012 collaboration with BlueAvocado to launch XO(eco), an environmentally-friendly collection of bags, eco-friendly make-up brand Lauren Conrad Beauty (2020), which was discontinued in 2021, and her first fragrance, LOVED by Lauren Conrad in 2022.

As an author, she released her initial book L.A. Candy in 2009.  Other publications include Sweet Little Lies (2010), Sugar and Spice (2010), Lauren Conrad Style (2010), The Fame Game (2012), Lauren Conrad Beauty (2012), Starstruck (2012), Infamous (2013), and Lauren Conrad Celebrate (2016). Lauren Conrad’s demanding fashion designer and TV personality responsibilities, along with diet, exercise, and lifestyle, likely help maintain her body shape/figure by increasing her metabolic rate, thus burning more calories to keep excess regular white/yellow fat weight at bay.
