Skinny Fat Details:
Body Type One celebrity Aaron Judge is showing no obvious signs of skinny fat (lack of genetic muscle, IE cellulite, thin fat, normal weight obesity) anywhere on his body. The full development of his vertebrae (posture) and muscles/muscle mass is currently not in debate.
Science recognizes that one pound of muscle burns six calories per day, but one pound of regular fat (white fat/yellow fat/excess fat) and/or skinny fat only burns two to three calories. Which directly affects metabolism (the more skinny fat and/or regular fat, the slower the metabolism) as well as genetic body composition and shape. Having a strong metabolism because of all that muscle and muscle mass, no less, is an advantage that a fully developed BT1 typically offers, including aging gracefully.
Diet, exercise, lifestyle, metabolic rate (BMR), and BMI matter. But so do genes/genetics/DNA. It will be interesting to see how well Aaron Judge successfully maintains his body shape physique/figure as he continues to age. Is he perhaps a Body Type Two?
Bio:
Eight-time MLB All-Star and three-time American League (AL) Most Valuable Player Award (MVP) winning superstar Major League Baseball player Aaron Judge began playing as a pitcher and first baseman at Linden High School in California, where he was an award-winning three-sport star (football and basketball). In 2010, he was chosen in the 31st round of the MLB draft by the Oakland Athletics. However, he chose to attend California State University, Fresno, on a baseball scholarship. After a decorated and successful collegiate career, he was drafted by the New York Yankees in the first round of the 2013 MLB draft as the 32nd overall pick.
Quickly growing through the amateur league ranks, in 2014, he played for the Charleston RiverDogs of the Class A South Atlantic League, the Tampa Yankees of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League, and the Scottsdale Scorpions in the Arizona Fall League. In 2015, he was invited to the Yankees’ spring training as a non-roster player. Paying his dues, the following year he played with the Trenton Thunder of the Double-A Eastern League. Subsequently promoted to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders of the Triple-A International League, he played there through the summer of 2016.
His big break came on August 13, 2016, when he made his MLB debut with the Yankees. In that game against the Tampa Bay Rays, in his first at-bat, he hit his first MLB home run off Matt Andriese. He followed with another home run in his second MLB game, joining Joe Lefebvre (1980) to become the second Yankees player to homer in each of his first two MLB games. That season, he unanimously won AL Rookie of the Year.

He is 6 feet 7 inches (2.01 m) and 282 pounds (128 kg).
